Managers, supervisors and more…. A lot more

My company was contracted to do “security” for a factory which flies in 300 extra temporary employees for the Christmas rush, we basically stand in a corridor for 8 hours trying to explain to people who don’t speak English and come from countries with no health and safety or cross contamination safeguards. This isn’t the problem at all, they always apologise and rarely make the same mistake twice. It’s the 10 different supervisors who have their own made up rules and 5 managers who also have their own made up rules…. And guess what? All their rules conflict with one another. So we stand there for 8 hours getting chewed out by upper management employee who passes by, we are told that take a break but still “keep an eye on things”. What they really mean to say is “if I catch you on break I’ll lay into you for not working”

Sorry for the rant but incompetent management over the last few days has really gotten the better of me.
