21+F Really missing having a friend group and am tired of feeling sad / lonely while I stare at my pc.

North America

Im tired of not having a group of friends I can call home to after having a long busy day and am wanting to fix that. Im wanting to find other genuine people who are also yearning to belong to a friend group and are willing to play a part in building one. I really enjoy hanging out in vc even if we’re not playing the same game, calls while we do our own things, texting throughout the day, sharing the funny stuff that happened, etc.

I am a Christian and I am married, I’m from the USA. I like to believe I am a bubbly, optimistic, friendly person and I don’t like leaving people out. I have been told I’m good at bringing people together and I like to think that’s a good thing. I have also been told my laugh is infectious and it’s hard to be in a bad mood around me since I’m so positive. I’m the type of person that if we have a bad game, I generally like to find the positive in that game even if it overwhelmingly wasn’t great. I don’t like to dwell on negativity or beating ourselves up. You don’t need to impress me, you don’t need to be good at the game, you just need to be yourself and want friends. I game for the social aspect so I enjoy good vibes.

I also dont mind buying games and trying them out! As such I won’t be listing my games here since I am open to a variety of games but I will go ahead and say I don’t play Marvel Rivals / Fortnite / Overwatch basically a lot of the free to play FPS games. I am interested in finding a few people who are interested in games with a finished state like the forest to do a playthrough with! The genres I enjoy include simulation, sandbox, party games, friend slop, survival, horror, open world, and I’m wanting to try out rpg. Not sure if that’s all the genres but that hopefully gives you a good idea! I am bored of my current rotation so I’d like to try something new God willing. If this sounds up your alley don’t be afraid to reach out :)
