Noble Fir Sap in Eye

We were decorating our Christmas tree and when cutting the top some sap flicked into my eye. It stung really bad and I washed it out with water for a few minutes. It’s feeling lots better now but still a bit irritated. Do I need to do anything or should I be okay?
