Choosing an RV Power System

I’m planning to set up the power system for my RV, and since I don’t have much electrical experience — and want to avoid a complicated DIY setup — I’ve been leaning toward an all-in-one power station.

After comparing a few options, the Bluetti Apex 300 (3,840W output, 2,764.8Wh capacity) has been on my radar. Their current deal for the Apex 300 + B300K + Hub D1 is $2,698, which seems reasonable, but I’m still unsure about a few things.

  1. The Apex 300 has 3.8kW of continuous output, which is enough to run high-draw appliances like a portable AC, pressure cooker, or dual induction cooktop. But for normal RV use (fridge, lights, laptop), is this kind of power overkill?
  2. I’ve seen some RV owners say the Hub D1 is useful because it provides up to 700W of DC output and a 50A Anderson port. If I just use the Apex 300’s AC ports with a normal charger, would I be giving up much efficiency?

Has anyone here used this setup? Or are there better alternatives I should be considering?
