It’s quite simple.

He doesn’t like you enough and cba to put energy in.

Let’s break it down, if you have to chase someone… they’re running from you, so why bother?

You’re getting clear signals of disinterest and because you’re too egotistical to realise that, you think he is playing hard to get… he doesn’t like you walaalo.

Complaining about this says a lot more about your unreciprocated dynamic. So please save yourself the embarrassment and stop chasing. Let him go.
