Bleeding a lot after scabs came off

Hey yall I got my tonsils out Monday and it’s currently Sunday so day 7, I tried to clear what I thought was mucus and snuffed a whole scab off. It was preset alarming as it was very dark red and since then for about a half hour or so, I’ve been minorly bleeding. Ice water is slowing it but not stopping it, should I be worried or am I just tweaking?
