Shiny hunting hot take maybe?

I don’t know if anyone else feels this way but I’ve become rather frustrated with shiny hunting. I mean I thinks it’s wild that we have to do 1000 battles for the shiny charm, which while it isn’t a super hard task it is a grind nonetheless. Then you finally get the shiny charm and still end up having to look up all of these ridiculous ways just to get a shiny pokemon. I just feel like, for me at least, it takes way the fun of the game. It’s nice to randomly come across one while out in the wild but bench resetting and doing the overload glitch, it’s just too much. I’m not saying I want them to spawn every five seconds, but in Arceus, I had a higher chance of encountering shinies without the charm. That’s my take, how do you all feeling about it? Have you found any strategies that work for you?
