Best 20x80 setup?

I have some 10x50 binoculars that are not bad for looking at the moon and stargazing but I want something an it stronger. It’s pretty casual so I figure 20x80 would be a happy medium but I’ll need a stand. Would be it better to get a binocular with a stand or telescope with a stand at this type of magnification?
