DUI while on probation

My boyfriend got a dui yesterday and he’s already on probation. His first court case was a year and a half ago ( felonious assault at a bar) it was dropped. 3 months ago he got a DV while drunk ( dropped to disorderly conduct) and was put on probation for a year due to his prior court case involving alcohol. He had to do a drug and alcohol assessment and has random drug tests. Now he just got a dui. Is he screwed completely or does he have a chance of being able to go to rehab instead of jail? I know all cases are different but has anyone gotten a dui while on probation. It’s clear all of his charges are alcohol related and he needs help to be sober. I’m just scared he’s going to go to jail for a long time. We have a 4 month old baby and he pays the bills, i don’t want to end up homeless with my son i’m just stressing
