Gold Card (Education Category) – Sharing a Warning About the Rigid Process

Sharing a short warning for anyone applying for the Taiwan Gold Card under the Education category.

The evaluation was very rigid. The reviewing officer insisted on only one specific “template letter” from a university and did not assess my background holistically. Replies were brief, template-like, and did not explain which requirement was unmet.

If your qualifications come from modern adult-education or professional-training systems (e.g., Singapore, UK, Australia), note that the Education category may not recognise them unless they match the officer’s fixed internal template.

Posting this so others know what to expect and can avoid unnecessary frustration.
