Question about citations in footnotes
Hi everyone,
I am sure this is a stupid question but I cannot figure it out. I want my citations in my footnotes to look like: Smith (2004:15) has pointed out that X, while Brown (2020:40) states Z.
All styles including notes make it hard to do different references interjected by text (or maybe I am stupid and haven't figured it out). The closest thing to that I've gotten was to create a footnote and then use an in text citation ,which gives (Smith, 2004:15) and then fix them manually. I am sure there is a better way, so what is this way?
Thank you!
