Society is much more accepting of sexuality’s other then heterosexuality?

✅ Open To Everyone

Am I right? I feel society is far more supportive and understanding of non-heterosexual attraction than it is of straight men who are attracted to conventional, feminine women. When I read things online, I often feel judged for wanting a conventional relationship, wanting kids, or simply being attracted to women. I end up feeling shame and self-loathing for my own sexuality, and sometimes it feels like people would accept me more if I weren’t straight. I also feel like people expect me to go against my own attraction and pursue partners I don’t want. People say you can’t change who you’re attracted to, but when it comes to heterosexual attraction, I often see claims that it’s “not real,” socially constructed, or something that can be fixed or judged. This makes me feel like straight attraction is looked down on while other orientations are praised. Throughout childhood and teen yrs I didn’t think this way; I always felt my attraction to women was normal back then. Since I’m in a community college and trying to transfer I’ve had less time to socialize and struggle to meet new people. And that leaves me with the online world and to me I can’t tell what’s real and isn’t online. In a sense I feel so oppressed for being into women bodies. From what I’ve seen so far this overall makes feel like I can’t date because people hate my sexuality.
