Would it be possible to foster/adopt a child/or children if I have 2 young kids already living at home?

This is probably a silly question but I'm just curious. I have a 26 month old and a 6 month old that are bio. Id love to foster and would love to adopt if given the chance. Would having kids as young as mine affect my chances in anyway, especially if I was able to adopt a child or 2 around the same age as my current kids?

I've asked a few foster friends of mine and they weren't sure but don't think that It would affect anything? Just wanted some more thoughts on this.
