Trying to enjoy this but I’m just not…

I keep watching this show but I’m not really getting any hype or feeling like I should care about the characters like I do when watching anything else that’s similar. The animation isn’t bad and I’ve seen people talking about it being consistent but I don’t see anything nearing stuff like JJK S1 Ep 20 or any recent One Piece hype fights so I don’t get that argument. There’s also next to no backstory for ANYONE except Zanka and he just lost. I wouldn’t rather had a backstory on Jabber than him.

This is for anime only people but there’s almost no reason to care about any of these characters at all right now. I’m not going to read the manga and it feels like it’s obvious why this won’t do as well as other things. Trying to find a reason to continue after this episode or just give up. Also, trying to say the story is better than others isn’t really working when it feels like almost nothing significant has happened over all of the episodes that have released.

I don’t know why but I just can’t love this one when I’ve liked almost every new and old anime I’ve watched lately.
