Beyond Depth Vs Prominence II: What are the differences and are either worth playing?

Both modpacks have interested me and i would like to hear what people have to say about both. Have very limited experience on Beyond Depth (barely got to its first dimension progression wise), and basically none on Prominence II.

Wouldn't like to blindly commit to one not knowing the other provides a similar, but better experience. If there are other modpacks that are considered superior to either of these, i'm also interested in hearing about them.

Ty!
