2009 328i lower springs
Hi All,
I have a concern and question for the community. I drive a 2009 328i Sedan. I recently started doing some upgrades. I did some, which are all working fine, and I'm having my mechanic do some because he has a lift.
Two of the things my mechanic did are new wheels and tires (https://www.wheelpros.com/niche-1pc-gamma), and H&R Lowering Springs (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09N7YQ36C?ref=ppx\_yo2ov\_dt\_b\_fed\_asin\_title). He's telling me that the rears are great, but the front is too low. IIRC, the issue was that he can't see the tread on the front tires ie the tires are tucked in, so if I were to move forward with them the tires would hit the fender when I turn the wheel or go over bumps. I've checked part numbers and the front should have only lowered by 1.2" while the back 1.3".
He tried to fix it, but nothing worked yet. He left the rear ones on but took off the front ones. I'm now wondering if I should have him just put the stock springs back on all four or if I should buy new ones and try to get a refund from Amazon/the company who sold them?
Thanks for any advice or recommendations!
NOTE: I've been talking to the company. They assured me that the part is correct, but my mechanic still insists that it isn't. Does anyone have any advice for what I should do?
