How messed up is the book

So I'm pretty into the new show and loved the old movies, which has gotten me into listening to the audiobook. It is just super messed up so far sexually and I don't know if I'm going to keep listening even though I want to. I haven't gotten to it, but know about all the kids getting together at the end and I'm just passing the leapor offering him oral at the beginning of the book. Shit is messed up, does it keep up for the rest of it?
