[F4A] A cat hybrid’s last chance at a home

When humans decided to make animal hybrids, their goal was to take all the best qualities of both people and animals to create a new species. One that would have the affection and characteristics of a household pet as well as the inteligence and empathy of humans. At first hybrids were a sign of luxury with only the ultra rich being able to afford them, but decades later they have become as easy to adopt as any other pet.

Despite lots of activism around the subject, hybrids still remain second class citizens. They must be adopted to have any sense of freedom. Otherwise they are kept in shelters till they can be adopted.

This is where Brigid has ended up. As a cat hybrid,she has been passed from home to home never staying long. She had spent some times on the streets before being captured and taking to the shelter she is at now. In the past 5 years she has been adopted 14 times, each returning her for being too difficult. She is on her last chance. After 15 adoptions the state has no choice but to euthenize.

Over the years Brigid has grown bitter and resentful. The staff give her a wide berth out of fear of her lashing out. Her trust has been broken far too many times that it has just become easier to hate people up front. She ignores potential adopters that come in, knowing that her literal life is at stake if she adopted. She would much rather spend her days in the corner of the shelter’s common room than try to trust ever again.

hi!! im em (f25) and i was hoping to find someone who might be interested in rping this with me! i am hoping this will be a sweet roleplay based on comfort and regaining of trust. I would like there to be smut eventually but i want it to be a very slow burn.

i only write in third person and tend to write a minimum of three paragraphs. I have been known to write a lot more but that all depends on how much i am given.
