My opinion about this quote

New warriors are announced and Jayfeather decides not to cheer them on. "'Even medicine cats are allowed to cheer' Alderheart hissed in his mentor's ear. Jayfeather grunted. 'Why should I cheer? More warriors means more wounds and more work for me." I do not personally believe this is the reason he did not cheer. Everyone always congratulates new warriors days after the ceremony, but when Jayfeather got his full name everyone brushed it off like nothing happened. So why should he cheer for them if they show little to no respect to him. He obviously should not have said it like he did, but I understand his actions and response in general,

I just feel like people will hate Jayfeather for this so I just wanted to clarify what this meant :)
