Snow and Pavement?

With snow hitting us what am I using to walk the baby to the bus stop with her older sister?

In the mornings after a snow our small street is often knee deep or more in snow while the sidewalks on the next street are completely plowed.

The stroller won’t work in deep snow. The sled scrapes on the cement,salt, sand and gravel on the sidewalk and gets damaged.

Last year when she was a newborn I wore her, but she’s big and heavy now and I’m worried I would lose my balance and slip in the snow or ice. I don’t want either of us getting hurt

What is everyone else using to switch between travel in deep snow and plowed pavement?
