YES! I have bemoaned my Z7 II a lot and was supposed to sell all my Nikon gear for a GFX and a X series camera this upcoming Friday.Prior to tossing in the towel and decimating my wallet I decided to rent a ZF for a long weekend. Since it arrived I've been putting it through some tests to see how I feel about its performance. And deities has it been great. Everything was seamless. If I screwed up I screwed up. I wasn't left fighting the camera and trying to figure out what I screwed up or if the camera "freaked out"

Focus is snappy and while not perfect its a marked improvement. I've noticed less indecisiveness which the Z7II seemed to be bad with. On the Z7II I'd get focus and confirmation then it seemed it would drop right as I hit the shutter. I was convinced it was me for a long time until I started putting shutter speed insanely high and still would get misses. This thing? Locked and stayed there. If there was blur it was on me.

Its not all perfect though. I hate the flippy screen and wished it either had the setup from the Z7 II or could find a way to let you use it more waist level. The grip is not bad at all when I have the 40mm f/2 on, anything bigger and my hands hurt quick and its hard to hold. Also, MicroSD????

Anyways, I'm glad I rented this and it looks like I'll be staying in Nikon. I wished it had a bigger sensor but 24MP is good enough for now. The Z7 will be a back up for more landscape and portrait photos. Whens the ZF II coming??? or even better ZF R (based on the Nikon S3)

Did the ZF make me fall in love with Nikon?
