I don't know if anyone has found this combo yet, but it's wicked.

So I'm new to the game but I watched a few reviews on it and I ALSO SUCK, so I installed a few mods to make it so that I can actually just kick back and explore and experiment with wands and potions. (I'm not spawning anything in, just have a lot of inventory space and regen HP.)

So I kinda f'd myself by picking up two feats; one that both negates recoil but shortens the distance of my spells, and the other being the one that slows all projectiles down in an area of me (I didn't know it would apply to my own.)

But I did find that putting a burning trail on a basic poison blob attack you can spawn with, using this combo of feats, Allows you to just drip massive amounts of fire onto things below for a DECENT period of time.

But that isn't even the point of the post...

While this combo of feats does completely F me over with using Black Holes to remove terrain, I also have a perk that gives me a little friendly ghost that copies spells... and I definitely get more bang for my buck with that guy.

When he copies my black hole spell, he shoots a black hole about 200 meters within a second. He's fucking DANGEROUS! Super useful in helping me get my first run that has gone more than a few hours, being able to go get that eye that tunnels through things has been a blessing in itself, and I can save him for tunneling through the dense rock, back into the previous areas. You NEED to get back into previous areas for this game.

I've never had so much random fun in a game before. I love it so much. I wish I could save my games. I generally hate roguelikes; I wish this game was a roguelite. But I love how each one is different. With all the crafting and alchemy and secrets, it's like a more hardcore, more intuitive, more fun roguelike 2d version of 2014-era Minecraft.

But even when you die there is always something new to find even in the beginner areas. It's just such a good game like WOW.
