I'm not what you're used to..

I don't expect frequent foreign trips, I don't have expensive taste, and I don't desire to attend large social gatherings just to be seen.

My identity isn't attached to pricey college degrees, a high paying career, or a long list of countries visited.

My palette isn't sophisticated, my clothing never designer and I really don't care about the latest trend of whatever.

I'm reserved, I love a quiet space, and home is sacred to me. I love to cook, but I'm not a "foodie". And movie night with popcorn on the couch is preferred over a night out with dinner at a fancy hotel.

I like a simple life I can breathe easily in. Simple moments I can be thankful for. I don't seek excitement and drama, gossip and networking, or chasing all the things in life I'm told I should be chasing.

I'm a little bit traditional, stubbornly simple, and always seeking the quiet magic of a slow paced, peaceful life.

I'm not what you're used to, we both know this. But why do you keep looking in my direction?
