Priority Pick up

I regularly choose priority pick up because I do not want to wait and do not mind paying extra for the service. However, the past few months when I pick it the wait time ends up being as late as 15 minutes from the orginal estimated arrival. More times than I would like to have, I messaged the driver to ask if the app was in error because it shows that they have not moved in 5 minutes; suddenly they start to move. Oh, I get the sorry running behind message from Lyft. Is this happening to anyone else?
