I just froze Draft #22 of a Global Constitution for Humanity — written for Earth today, unbreakable for the stars tomorrow. Feedback welcome.

On 30 November 2025 I froze Draft #22 of the Global Constitution of Humanity — 97 pages, one private citizen (me, Shawn C. Sutton), no funding, no government, just a covenant I believe we are ready to consider.

It is not law yet.
It becomes law only when 60.3 % of humankind (or our freely chosen representatives) peacefully affirm it.

Until then it is simply the most detailed map I could draw of a species that chooses to grow up instead of fracture.

Key ideas that have never existed together in one founding document before:

• Permanent abolition of offensive war among humans
• Tricameral legislature: institutions + direct liquid democracy + 400 randomly selected experts
• No great-power veto, no permanent members
• Universal Civic Dividend + dynamic demurrage so money circulates instead of hoards
• 30 % of every new off-world berth reserved for the historically disadvantaged
• Full path to citizenship for sentient AIs
• Secession is a protected human right (500 k or any indigenous people)
• If Earth ever falls silent, off-world settlements automatically inherit the constitution
• Everything livestreamed and cryptographically sealed from Day 1
• Written to stay valid for a million years and to scale from today’s low-orbit reality (SDSF currently authorized at exactly zero warships)

I’m one guy who spent two years on this because I believe the future is still writable.

Read it. Tear it apart. Improve it. Ignore it. Or, if it resonates, help carry the light farther.

All comments welcome. All languages welcome. All skepticism encouraged.

From one cradle-world to a thousand future suns —
