MacBook Air 15 inch m3 with logic board liquid contact

Hi so I recently sent in my MacBook to Apple for an inspection after I couldn’t get my mac to connect to the WiFi at all after trying every troubleshoot method possible however Apple recently contacted me about how they found another issue with the logic board and it being damaged due to liquid contact. I just wanted to know is it bad or fixable and also does this have any link to why the WiFi was not working or not.
