KKR has retained only 2 overseas players and have 6 overseas slots to fill in the auction. If they target the above players, they might spend around 55 Crores out of their 64 Crore purse.

With the remaining \~9 Crores, they can comfortably target Indian Backups (1 leg spinner, 1 pacer, 2-3 batsmen).
I genuinely hope they don't buy back **Venkatesh Iyer**, trusting and retaining him in the past has led KKR to lose **S. Gill, N. Rana and Phil Salt**.
**Jonny Bairstow** can also be a good pick, but I feel KKR management and Abhishek Nayar should focus on youngsters.
Buying **Maxwell or Livingstone** made no sense initially, but they'll provide an extra spin option.

If we look at KKR's template, they have 4 pace options (Vaibhav, Rana, Green\*, Pathirana\*) and only 2 spin options (Narine and Varun + Maxxi/Livingstone)
We don't have a proper Captain, and we won't find one in this mini auction.
