Episode 6 discussion, goods, bads, predictions, questions

Wow what an episode, best one so far. This series is skyrocketing my expectations but I do have some questions and ideologies I wish they improved on.

First of all, the Pennywise scene in the basement had my heart pounding through my chest. I’ve never felt so much dread and genuine fear for a scene like that in a while, maybe since the first movie.

The black spot fire is going to be heartbreaking, so many people are going to die. The cherry on top will be Pennywise coming and taking victims too at the end, hopefully he grabs some POS White Legion members.

Lilly’s plot armor gotta be studied. She’s about to avoid a major killer event and all her friends are gonna die.

One thing I’m disappointed about: off screen Pennywise kills. The off screen deaths are the worst. The scene with Pennywise in the basement was so awesome but as soon as that door shut I knew we weren’t gonna see any violence, I frowned immediately. Hopefully Muschietti is rationing the budget for some dope kills in the last two episodes.

I feel like they’ve been doing too much history throughout the series and jumping back in time multiple times. Isn’t that what the next seasons are for? Was really excited for 1908 cuz we would finally see the origins of Pennywise but ig they are showing us next episode.

What is Dick’s role gonna be going forward? He’s clearly outmatched by IT after losing his mind battle in the sewers. He’s gotta figure it out.

The dagger retcon is really dragging this series down for me too. IT was described as being unstable until he crossed paths with the losers yet there’s a weapon that can make him stop in his tracks? I don’t like it.

aside from what I just mentioned, this series has been amazing. Episode 7 and 8 are going to be awesome, terrifying, heartbreaking, and super entertaining. So excited!
