Has anyone dealt with chronic ear infections in their dog and have managed to find a solution?

We have a 10yo pekingese who gets ear infections all the time. We’ve had him at numerous vets and they always give him antibiotics that work, but as soon as the course is finished the infection comes back. He has always been on the Hill’s dog food for allergies and that has also not helped. Any advice?
