LLC kit but with what base?

I scored an old lava lamp but it’s not flowing right and the wax color is rough so I wanna gut out the insides and start fresh. Saw LLC hadthe Pint size kit with wax and both types of surfactant and some colors and a cleaner which seems like an odd kit selection. But no base solution to make it better. Saw somewhere else that one shot base shouldn’t be mixed with LLC. What do I do? Also When does Ooze go back in stock? That was my first option.
