Lost and Confused & Need Practical Help
I'm severely depressed and burnout but i'm 26 and i'm terrified of wasting my life away more than i already have. I grew up sheltered so i don't have a social or romantic life(never have), but I also don't have a career bc I haven't been able to figure out who i am let alone what career to go into and don't think my creative passions are realistic enough. I live with my parents but because of my financial stress (both current and future), I feel more inclined to go to school and pick a random career that'll make me money, but my burnout from 2022 is still so bad that I can only take like 2 classes a semester which means it's going to take me YEARS to even graduate.
I hate my current working and financial situation so i need to figure something out, but if i focus on school and working for YEARS then I'll continue to have no social or romantic life for my entire 20s and everything is making me feel like a failure. No social life, no romantic life, no career, etc. At least if I was having fun this whole time I wouldn't feel awful but i feel like i've done nothing with my life. Having to work while going to school is torture right now but i'm trying even tho im (barely) recovering from burnout. Im 5 classes away from an associate of business BUT IDK WHAT TO DO! (i'm in therapy and had so much energy before burnout so hard work isn't the issue) I wish I could take a month to rest and recalibrate but i have bills and im scared of reaching 30+ and being in the same boat so it's
- pick a random ass career and suffer for years to get the degree by like 30
- Put school on the back burner to try having a social life and continue working minimum wage jobs until i'm in my 30s
- continue working and taking little classes and worsen my burnout and depression for little in return
