How do I support my partner(M) who decided to pause sex in the relationship.
First time posting, let me know if I'm posting in the wrong place.
I need help me! My(F) partner(M) of 2 years has decided that he wants to pause having sex. He said at the moment he doesn't want to have any sex, he has been honest about it. He is not cheating, nor he/I want to end/open the relationship. When we first started dating we had great sex but out of the sudden he doesn't want to have sex anymore. He has been very open, communicative about it, he even helps me get off when I ask him but it doesn't turn into sex.
When we first talked I asked him if he was turned off by me, he said no that it must be low libido. He is in great shape and eats healthy, stress is at the minimum so is not for health reason to pause.
My question is, how can I be supportive in his decision? He has brought up "would i be okay if there is no sex in the relationship?" Which I have assure him I would be okay as long physical touch doesn't end. He does seem scared that I am going to end the relationship if there is not sex. I have assure him I am not, and I am willing to work on ways to make it work.
So any tips, books, what has helped your relationship?
