Husband is a hypocrite when it comes to me talking on the phone with my family versus him talking to his

Advice Needed

When he has called his family, his grandmother for example, he has ignored me whenever I've asked him anything or mentioned to tell/ask her something. He's also gotten upset whenever I've made any noise, intentional or not, something I only did one time. However, when it comes to me calling my mother he almost always interrupts me in some way. He asks me to ask and tell her things repeatedly. Things he could ask or tell her but he doesn't do. He expects me to interrupt her to do this, and says if I don't I'll forget.

This has left me very stressed out with him talking in my ear along with her. It led to me hanging up on her and arguing with him before. He repsonded by saying he thought I wanted him to talk, and that he will stop. When what I wanted was for him to actually talk not talk through me. He used to talk to her, and ask things, but he stopped. Yet, when we visit her he's always very talkative, to the point that he tends to ignore me whenever he's speaking to her. Then we leave and he doesn't speak to her again until we visit.

I find this strange. Like he's being performative. He said guys don't tend to speak to their mother in laws, and it's a bit odd I expect him to talk to her over the phone much, when he used to do it. He made a comparison to a guy in his class talking to his girlfriends mother, which is not the same thing. A while back he swore he'd speak to her more. He said tonight to call her to ask her about something, and that he would speak. When she answered she said she couldn't speak for long.

He once again made comments to me to share to her. He said he couldn't talk because she said she couldn't talk long, and if he had said what he was asking me to say it would've been weird. I got annoyed over this and he said I was overreacting. He asked why I was only upset after this happened when I was upset over it before. He kept saying I was going to get too intense. I said he can't stand when I did it to a lesser degree when he was on the phone with his grandmother.

That he would often ignore me, and not ask/tell her what I was saying. He said "Yeah, I can't interrupt her to say/ask something at an inappropriate time, I have to wait for the appropriate time to do so." The very thing I've been saying, and getting upset over all along. Something which he's either not cared about or has failed to understand. And yet when it comes to him being in the same scenario, he can see that it's wrong. It's the same with everything else.

What he does to me which is boundary crossing, disrespectful, he only views as wrong if it happens to him. And that angers me more than anything. He's not clueless, he's fully aware, and yet he does it anyways and argues with me over it when it's upset me going as far as to call me a b*tch.
