Navy CEC or AFROTC

Im a prior active duty airman and current ANG. Im going to be going to school for engineering after tech school for the guard and am wondering which route you guys would recommend. The navy offers a collegiate program where you are sworn into active duty paid an E-5 basic pay and allowances, while also accruing leave and time toward retirement. If I am accepted into this program, I will be guaranteed a slot into the CEC. This is assuming I keep my grades up, pt well, and pass OCS. With AFROTC, I will not be guaranteed an engineering slot, but I believe that my chances of commissioning will be higher. I also think that I would serve as a better leader seeing as how I already have some experience in the Air Force. Does anyone have some advice on which route I should take?
