AIO for crying and yelling at me boyfriend infront of his friends
Hi, throw away account. I 17F and my boyfriend 16m have been together for nearly six months, decently new, a great relationship overall, but we've had problems.
Tonight I had known he was going out with his friends, and I was happy for him, I told him I love him, to be safe and not to be reckless; as any caring partner would. Well, he did the exact opposite, I guess him and his friends went to Walmart and shoplifter hot food and ate it, running around the store playing hide and seek, being reckless. As I know it, he texts me cops got called. Supposedly a cop showed up giving them a talking to. But I went off on him a little bit, repeatedly asking if he was joking because he's joked about being stupid before. But I was just so upset he was so disrespectful and reckless.
Now for more details, I know it was more extreme then from what he let on, my mom was there and her friend who works there said they were looking out for a group of boys who keep being reckless. When I called him out he had a major attitude, telling me to relax, that it's the only fun thing to do in a small town. The town is not small, if you know lake of the Ozarks missouri, then you know there's a plethora of things to do with or without money, other than breaking the law. Anyway, he was laughing at me and antagonizing me, I asked him to stop being cocky and calling me "bruh", not inherently bad but I just didn't like it.
Onto previous events, he mocks me when I'm expressing something I dont like or how I feel, and keeps going despite me begging him to stop, he always ignores my feelings, or only responds with a "dangg". I know he's 16, he's young, he's immature, as most our age are, but I've matured a lot due to personal occurrences, and I just dont like immaturity to that extremity. Plus, he knows I hate immaturity, as I come home complaining about it from school with some girls from my classes.
Anyway, onto the most recent, less then an hour ago, during the argument I ended up calling, too frustrated to type, I tried to stay firm but the exhaustion of trying to be heard got me, I started crying and begging him to stop, and that I dont deserve this, I deserve to be heard, and after that he stopped laughing at me and went silent and said sorry.
Am I overreacting?
