Is It Safe for My Cat to Eat Food Past Its Best Before Date?

Last month I went to the US, and I think I spotted Temptations cat treats at a rest stop supermarket while browsing. The packaging looked really cute, so I thought it would be nice to bring some back home for my two little troublemakers to try.

Because the trip was very rushed, I didn’t pay much attention to the “Best Before Date” at the time, and based on trust… I didn’t expect…

Today, while organizing the cat treats, I noticed that out of the four packs I bought, three of them have Best Before Dates: 07/2025, 06/2025, 11/2025, and 11/2025.

So… is it still okay to give these to them, or would it be better not to give them at all?

Also, I looked all over the packaging and couldn’t find any “Use By Date”, only the Best Before Dates.
