this damn schedule??

new hire here. i had my orientation day last week as a BOH associate. they had me scheduled for 6:30 this morning.

i got there, the manager gave me a weird look and told me i wasn’t on the schedule. i look at the app, and my 6:30 - 11 shift magically disappeared in the last 24 hours and i had no clue.

i was scheduled for tomorrow instead. i checked the app again a few minutes ago, they took that shift away too.

is this normal?? mind you, the girl i got hired with is on her fourth shift. maybe they didn’t think i was fast enough and will only use me if they had a call out or some shit.
