Questions as a second time reapplicant
Hi all, last year I applied to a couple of programs for law school but unfortunately it didn't work out for me and I am reapplying to some of the same programs. I had two questions regarding the application process:
-
Regarding letters of recommendation, I used a letter from my grad school professor and one from my place of work. I have been out of school for over five years at this point and my professor who provided the rec isn't someone I regularly keep in touch with. That being said, should I request another LoR from this professor or is it ok to recycle?

Regarding addendum statements, I was pre-med for till the end of my sophomore year in college. Basically, my grades were horrendous during this time and I know I should have dropped it, but I persisted for whatever reason. My grades picked up enough my last two years where I graduated with a 3.0 GPA (from a 2.1). This was almost a decade ago, and since then my grad school grades were fine and I've been working, so I am wondering if this warrants an addendum statement?
Thanks in advance!
