The Gacha System V2

Discussion

Gotta do this again since i messed up the first one. I already updated that post but might as well just make a new one since people are gonna get hella confused in the first one since I kinda suck at redditing. Newbie and all that. Anyway, here we go!

So! First off, we have our Gacha Currency. We don't know the economy, but in OG Arknights, without our monthly pass, you get around 2 ten pulls a month. With monthly, you would get 3 ten pulls a month. This is without an event mind you as well as exploration in the main world since OG Arknights was a tower defense game. There was also a way to farm the gacha currency in OG Arknights without weeklies and dailies but is usually not worth it and as such, I am unsure if they would implement it into Endfield...Unless the Factory lets us.

Now for actual pity and pulling math. you have two pities. You have the 80 pull pity and then the 120 pull pity which are different for each other.

For the 80 pull pity, once you hit it, you get the 50/50. You either get the banner character or you do not. This one both resets and moves forward for future banners. This is also the same for OG Arknights.

Then you have the 120 which does not carry forward. This one gives you the free 6 star when pulling up to 120 pulls. This will always reset when going to a future banner and pity does not carry over.

As such, when you pull for the first 80, this happens:

0/80 --> 80/80 --> 0/80: This is for the 80 pity system and you receive a 6 star

0/120 --> 80/120: This for the 120 pity system and will not transfer to future banner.

Now, when you pull 40 more if you want to of course to hit the 120 pity if you lose your 50/50 after you did your 80 pulls, this happens for the pity counter:

0/80 --> 40/80 --> 0/80: This is for the 80 pity system and will transfer over to the new future banner. This happens because you reach the 120 mark for the 120 pity system

80/120 --> 120/120 --> 0/0: This is for the 120 pity system and will not transfer over to the new future banner.

4:06:34 to 4:09:48.

As such, in 120 pulls, you get 2 six stars, either you win the 50/50 and get the 120 which will give you the dupe or you lose the 50/50 and then get the on rate banner character.

0/0 --> 0/120: Dupe Portion will now activate. After you get the Dupe, it will reset to this:

0/120 --> 120/120 --> 0/240: This is the second Dupe portion.

At 4:45:27 to 4:45:47

Now say, you wait and the new banner comes. Your pity will look like this from the previous banner if you only do 120 pulls.

0/80: This is for the 80 pity system that has been transferred over from the old banner.

0/120: This is for the 120 pity system that does not transfer over, and instead resets for the new banner.

If you are only going for one copy, 120 isn't really that bad since I do that a lot in OG Arknights by hitting the 150 mark.

So now, lets calculate weapon currency. This is probably the easier part. You get 2 six stars at 2,000 a piece, 10 five stars at 200 apiece and then 108 four stars at 20 apiece. The math is this.

2 x 2,000 = 4,000

10 x 200 = 2,000

108 x 20 = 2,160

For a total of 8,160 in total weapon currency which is a little over 4 ten pulls. Thats enough for 1 six star weapon for the 75/25. This is again, all at minimum so it can be higher then this, not lower. Now if you are looking from my point of view as an AK player as well as a WuWa player, it is pretty good. So if anything, do not pull weapon banner until you have 8 ten pulls which is 240 pulls between 2 banners. Honestly, 4 six stars in 240 pulls is pretty good in 2 banners. If you do the hoyo standard or even Arknights based on its rates if you do the worst like in Endfield, in Hoyo, you need 320 pulls at worst to get 4 five stars and you lose both 50/50's. In OG Arknights you would need 400 on a technical basis to match that at the worst since guarantee is 100 in Arknights but you never really hit it. Again, i'm just saying if it's worst case scenario in all games. Plus, this is only for characters. For weapons, Endfield has pretty much everyone beat due to it just giving you the currency through character pulls and in game things from what I heard.

Now, let us look from a whale perspective I guess because my previous post already got me flamed lmao.

If you take the data from all of this, this is what you will get as a whale if you want to max potential a 6 star character. You first need to get the character which is 120 pulls, and then another dupe comes in at 120 for a pot 1 six star character. After the 1st dupe, it is 240 pulls for another dupe. I will assume you lose absolutely every 50/50 from now on. As such, you are pulling 1200 times. Which to get a maxed out character...way better then any other game like this since WuWa, the most generous is at 1,120 just for their character.

Now, let us calculate the amount of 6 stars you would get as well as the weapon currency because why not.

If you pull 1200 times, you would get 15 six stars, 105 five stars, and 1080 four stars. Those 15 six stars does not include the rate up character dupes because they just get a potential. If you do the math, this is what it looks like.

15 x 2,000 = 30,000

105 x 200 = 21,000

1080 x 20 = 21,600

Which is a total amount of 72,600 Weapon Currency which is approx. a little over 36 ten pulls for the weapon banner. That allows you at least a pot 3 rate up banner weapon.

The weapon banner also works like this, every 4 pulls you get a 6 star weapon. Whatever you get extra such as if you reach the milestones as shown in the video below does not count towards if you pull a 6 star weapon so that counter does not reset. As such, you are basically getting...what... 13ish 6 star weapons within 36 ten pulls if you are a whale. I mean like damn.

At 5:47:20 and pause there.

You will first get your up rate weapon on your 8th ten pull and the rest is shown there. Realistically, you will be getting a fully maxed out on rate up banner within the 72,600 weapon currency pulls since Kyo got it much earlier then that at 40,000 or so.

Now, for those who, like in HSR or Genshin or WuWa if Wuwa players do that (I do not), pull for 2 dupes after you get the character and then the weapon and another dupe weapon. Here is the calculation based on the data I have seen.

For both Endfield and the Kuro and Hoyo games, you will need to pull at least 480 times if you lose every 50/50 to get the character to their E2, Pot 2, S2, C2 etc etc. Also, in each one, you would also get 6 six stars. I think the great thing for Endfield though, would be that each of the 6 stars can be different if you lose every 50/50 yet for the rate up character, you will still get Pot 2. Which i think is a plus of course in those 480 pulls. So like, if you pull in HSR, for 480 pulls, you would get say, 3 standard banner characters and 3 of the rate up characters, completing that the rate up characters E2. While in Endfield, your first 120 will give you the rate up character and after 360 more pulls, you will get 5 other characters plus 2 potentials for the rate up character. And those 5 other characters could be limited characters from previous banners or standard banner characters.

Now for the weapon banner. Since you don't need to buy more currency for the weapon banner since you will receive it when pulling, this is the break down. You would get 6 six star characters, 42 five star characters, and 432 four star characters. for every 6 star is 2,000 weapon currency, every 5 star is 200 currency, and finally every four star is 20 currency. Here is the Breakdown:

6 x 2,000 = 12,000

42 x 200 = 8,400

432 x 20 = 8,640

for a total of 29,040 weapon currency which is 14.66 ten pulls with 1980 per pull. That guarantees at least 1 rate up banner weapon and 2 more six star weapons that you have a 25% chance of getting the rate up banner weapon. You would need at least 3.33 more ten pulls to get a pot 1 weapon if thats what you want.

Here is the breakdown for how the weapon banner works. Every 4 ten pull gives you a 6 star weapon. Within the first 8, you will get the rate up banner weapon. If you get it on the 8th, 2 things will happen after you receive those first 2 six star weapons. The first, there will be something that is called the Arms Offering and a pull counter until you receive. Then there is the Tribute which will show how many ten pulls until you acquire your second rate up weapon.

At 5:42:53 to 5:44:23.

This shows how the counter works if you pull the Rate Up Weapon Early instead of late with my example.

Hope this helps a little to those who are looking at the gacha and wondering why the heck you need Zero Sanity to understand it.
