I really wish Tadano had more time to develop (not romantically)

(For anime only or people who haven't gone past volume 22, there's the spoilers.)

While his development was good on paper, I always felt it was sudden when he >!decided to stop being normal. The chapter itself was good, but it was very sudden. !<For year 2, he kind of became a background character, which is fine, as it got us more Manbagi. >!But in year 3, which focused on Komi and her relationship with Tadano, Tadano was kind of there whenever it wasn't a relationship-focused issue.!< There is a subtle change in his character that's way too subtle, and I only really recognized it on my reread. It's. It's where he really mellowed out and got more confidence, but there's really just no clear indication. It's only when you read year 1 and notice how he isn't as awkward in year 2 ongoing. Now, when there were chapters focused on him and his issues, they are really good, but I really wish we had more, since he's the deuteragonist.
