Electric Water Heater…

Electric water heaters in apartment.

If there is a vacant apartment that has the water turned off until someone moves in, will this cause any damage to the water heater?

As far as I know, the main water valve was just turned off, but nobody emptied the pipes or anything. The valve was turned “off” and that was it, so I’m assuming the water tank on the heater is still full. Is this fine?
