Sony 1000xm4s no longer working after water damage and I can't fix it

I wore my Sony 1000xm4s in the rain months ago and they worked fine but the next time I tried them they sounded awful and then no longer charged and no longer turned on so I gave up. Recently Ive become more confident in my tech repair skills so Ive opened them up and replaced the charging port since I read that's what might be wrong. I don't know if something else is wrong or if I did it wrong? What do I do?
