I’m working on a project similar to Keenan Taylor’s Tales of Kaimere, where creatures and peoples of all kind are all in one world, at the moment it’s all in late Antiquity early medieval era. I’ll share the full map when I’m done but for now I’ll share what I have.

the Turos Sea is the cultural, economical, and political, hub of the world, with most of the large or powerful nations being here, this makes the region similar to the Mediterranean in many different ways.

I'm going to go over many of the large nations their history and culture briefly.

The port cities of Ana, a sailing civilization, similar to that of Netherlands, terrain is flat and swampy, it was founded by a mix of Bengalis, turks, and Dutch peoples.

Urak-Roma, my personal favorite nation, founded by a group of Roman legionaries and some of the native Ka’ari peoples, they are powerful warriors and are a formidable force, however at the moment they know not of the rest of the world and are living in a zoo theory, similar to the north sentinalese. They are the setting of my first short story that centers around its founding

Madti, efficient farmers and founded by Japanese workers, climate similar to that of coastal Ryuku.

Gizazan Empire, a powerful group of conquerors similar to the ottomans or Persians. They were founded by many groups of Arabs and are Muslim.

Morulois, they control The Moru strait from what they get their name, they were founded by French sailors, they are the equivalent of the strait of Gibraltar.

Dasleni, a large republic of many different cultures, first founded by west african peoples.

Aelari, founded by Tibetan and nepalese peoples, they are hunters and live in a horde system similar to the mongols. also similar to the Mongols they hunt with eagles and ride on horses, this is a setting of one of the other short stories I’m working on.

This world so far is fairly flushed out, I have a language for the Ura-Romans and lots of lore but still lots of work to go, I do hope to turn this into a fantasy saga one day but for now I still have to work on the littler things, I also have many creature drawings if anyone cares to see.

Part of a fantasy world I’m working on
