Books in jail

!In Mako's jail cell, there's a shelf with two books. This seems like it must have been a deliberate choice, unless the backgrounds had originally been drawn for some other kind of setting. What do you suppose the books are? I could imagine them being left behind by another prisoner, but maybe they're also culturally significant and common books, like Aang's biography, or something.!<
