Ok I got a question!

Many people have told me that using a sword in reverse grip is bad(even though it looks so cool) and daggers vs a sword isn't a challenge the sword will always win.

I just read a book, in which the protagonist weilds daggers, and surprise, surprise, gets in a fight with someone who wields a sword, but the swordsman being cocky, draws his sword in reverse grip, and ends up losing the fight.

I was wondering how accurate this would be, because I feel it could go either way, but leaning to reverse grip not mattering, if the sword still has enough range to out reach the daggers.

But what do y'all think? If you need an except, I may be able to grab the excerit where this happened, and I can clarify more details if nesecary.
