tendency to withdraw after reciprocation

i was wondering if it’s a common occurrence to want nothing to do with someone after they like me back, or hate the idea of getting in a relationship even if i like someone. it’s not even that i “like the chase” or anything like that because i find crushes an overall unenjoyable experience, and the moment they reciprocate it i just feel withdrawn and uncomfortable. talking to someone who i know likes me fills me with dread, and i end up being mean or avoidant to anyone who i know has any possibility of having romantic feelings towards me.

is this at least not too irregular? it’s been like this for around a year or so. my last relationship failed pretty early on because of it.
