Second car shopping: replace my MX5 RF M/T with what?

context:

- primary family car is a Tesla Model Y that does everything well.

- only two parking slots in the condo

- shopping for a wife/son friendly second car (so no manuals, fits 4 people) to replace the MX5 M/T

- the BmW M3 touring is discounted down to 8.5M but curious if there are better choices or at least others to test drive
