Home Assistant w/ Govee in 2025?

I’m pretty deep in the Govee ecosystem but have recently gotten the Home Assistant itch.

I have a few other smart home devices (Alexa, SwitchBot) but mainly Govee.

In starting up with HA to consolidate all this, would you recommend it? I’ve read some mixed things on how Govee plays with HA. I believe there’s a few workarounds but has anyone had long term success with moving to HA for a mostly Govee home?
