My(20F) online friend(27M) is flirting with me?

So I have had this online friend for about a year. We would talk once every few days at the start but recently we have started talking everyday and I am glad for that cause he is really fun to talk to. We talk by texting.

All the flirting and innuendos started a few days back when an inappropriate joke of mine made him realise I knew all about that stuff and he told me how he always thought I was super innocent and how he was shocked and had never been so wrong. I asked him if it was off putting and he said that no, he likes it and if I was around his age…..

However, sometimes when he says he has to go to sleep I would joke, “Oh you’re leaving me alone” and he would say I can come sleep beside him.

He had listened to me rant about a guy I was frustrated with a few months back so he said as repayment he wants me to hold him till he falls asleep. So for that I joked that I’ll sing him nursery rhymes and treat him like a baby. I playfully said, “ Oh I won’t be able to lift you up like a baby.” And to that he said, “You don’t have to lift me, I’ll be on your lap then.”

Then once when I told him my blanket was soft, he said he was soft as well, so I joked, “No I am softer”, and then he said, “Good, I can squeeze you so hard when I feel like it then” I asked him what he meant and he said he meant my face, my hands and my hips-the love handles area specifically cause its soft.

I didn’t really know what to say to that so I just said ,” Huh, I am not your pillow lmao” And he said he will make me a pillow if I allow him to.

Then a few days back he was sick so I mentioned my dad fell sick around the same time he said, “Both Dad and Daddy huh.” And then said that its probably not the first time I called someone Daddy. I said that no I haven’t ever called anyone that and who would I even call that word. To that he said ,” You can call me Daddy so you can tell others that you have at least called someone that.” After this he wrote below that he was joking.

There have been more such innuendos recently and I would kind of reciprocate because I thought it was normal banter and I do it with another of my guy friends as well but not to this extent like the sleeping in lap stuff and all that. I am not uncomfortable with all this stuff. Its just I am wondering why his behaviour suddenly changed like this.

Also yesterday when I was lamenting me being single he told me, “ Dw I will find a man for you.” And a month back he had said that he respects me like a sister so idk why he is saying all this stuff then lol.
