Findom and epicurean hedonism

NSFWDiscussion

The stoic in me is faltering.

Epicurean hedonism is a philosophy that prioritises the pursuit of pleasure as the highest good...

But, it focuses on achieving tranquility and the absence of pain rather than indulgence in excess.

It advocates for simple pleasures and the careful management of desires to attain a peaceful and fulfilling life.

There appears to be an entire philosophy that aligns (at least partly) with indulging in Findom. If it's good enough for Epicurus, shouldn't it be good enough for me?

Absence of pain, simple pleasures, and the careful management of desires. This is a state I've achieved with Dommes before, but it's something I always inevitably stray away from.

Why do I avoid what brings me pleasure? Was Epicurus wrong? Or am I wrong?
